Well guys I went to the dealer to see what the deal was with the car and it's like 4000.00 in damage. They are replacing 3 rims and all tires but won't let me do aftermarket, oh well. Funny thing is they lost my amuse style front lip and scratched up the front bumper real bad, go figure.
hmmm you seem mighty calm about all this??? if i found out the "repair" shop damaged these rather expensive parts then i'd be pretty pissed off.....

so who's paying for the lip and the repaint on the front bumper????
i'd consider taking the car elsewhere

I will also have to pay the difference on the tires since they are going to pro-rate ones on the car

I could have told you a dealership wouldn't allow you to swap out aftermarkets, that's not what they are about, a different repair shop would be more forgiving in that department.

yea i kinda figured that. Just thought i would try. I was gonna take it somewhere else but just wanted to make sure it's done right, and if it isn't at least someone who would be liable for it

well i wouldn't believe just because they are a Honda Dealership that they will do a better job or be more "liable" than a quality repair shop.
I would ask around for a quality repair shop (many provide written guarantees) around your area that have done previous work on S2000's (check local forum).

Worst repair I ever got was on my 240 by the nissan dealer. Best repairs in my town are not done by a dealer, at least when it comes to body repair.

It seems to me there is no "let you" involved. You should have gotten a settlement from the insurance company. At this point you should simply be telling them how you want it repaired, and if it comes to more than the settlement you would fork over the extra from your own pocket. Because the insurance company determined only three rims need replacing, you'd of course have to buy the fourth.
