i know how u feel. i just got a hit and run a couple weeks ago. my damge is worse then yours.

 

talk about bad drivers, today while i was merging onto the freeway from a clover ramp, i'm entering the highway and about to merge, this vehicle who is on my destinated lane is roughly a little more than 1 car length behind me insisted on passing me, myself at the same time trying to accelerate to highway speed is forced to drive onto the shoulder until i let off some speed to let the jerk pass. i know i am to yeild, but if your driving on the freeway and someone else is merging and ahead of you, you would let them merge and not accelerate to pass. What makes it worst was the driver had his whole family in the sedan also. Just wanted to vent that.

 

Hey do you guys know if your insurance goes up if you make a claim for hit and run?! Never happened before so I am clueless on how that works? Right now I don't have any leads on the person that hit me so I'm just planning for the worst.

 

when i got the hit and run ,the mall parking owned by the city wouldnt let me look at the tapes. unless it's a homicide they didnt care. your insurance should cover minus deductible.

 

i've had 2 different insurance companies and have never heard of a deductible going up due to a hit and run. you should be fine. that sucks thou bro.
