Question on Invidia install....
So I just got back from a nice spin around town with my new exhaust. I had it installed today by a well-known shop in the area, but upon further exam tonight, I realized that it is not *quite* straight. The left tip extends ~2" further out, and isn't quite centered in the bumper opening. Is this a normal problem? Could I put the car on ramps, loosen the clamps, and fix this myself? Does it sound like a problem with the hangers? I can take pictures tomorrow if needed. I just don't want to show back up at the shop (who handles tons of S2000s) and look like an idiot.
Thanks in advance.

I think you'll be able to adjust these within reasonable tolerances. Obtain a rubber mallet and loosen the two clamps on the mid pipe. You might be able to do the adjustment by hand ,if not the mallet may come in handy.
On mine the driverside hangs a little lower than the passenger side. I'm sure I can adjust this with no problem just have to quit procrastinating.

i had the same problem when i first installed my exhaust quickly.. next morning, just put the car up, loosened the bolts connecting the exhaust canisters to the resonator/midpipe, and aligned them all up.. im not sure about the invidia or how it is bolted though. is it all one piece?

By the way... did you ever get used to the drone on yours? I guess I never realized how loud the exhaust would be in the 2-4k range. I hope this is something you just get used to...
The muffler ends of the exhaust are LIKE two axle-backs. It is adjustable. You gotta raise the car, and you'll notice there are 2 clamps that holds together the "axle-backs" to the rest of the piping. Loosen the clamps and you can adjust it. It might could be hard to move depending on lubrication and what not... so try a flathead screwdriver and a hammer and tap the edges (you'll know what I mean when you see it). Im guessing one of the "axle-backs" wasnt fitted all the way in before they put the clamp or whatever on it.
EDIT: ^^^^^^ holy crap.. I missed a few posts above me. Basically explaining what I just said. -_- im useless. haha please excuse me, I'm sleepy and was too lazy to read everything and now i regret it

Oh and by the way, the droning will be bad for a while. My eardrums felt like they were ripping apart. So I stuck on my silencers for about a month. After, I took them off and I THINK the sound went down considerably. Either that or my eardrums have been destroyed.

Sometimes I think it is quiteing down and other days it feels like my head is gonna explode. It seems that the drone might be worse after redlining and parking. The next time I take a drive afer that it seems so much louder.
I've only put on a few hundred miles since install however.
I also need to re-adjust my setup as the Invidia plate looks off center under my license plate.
The first time your going to think wtf did I do, I can't hear shit. I thought the same thing
. After a couple drives you'll get used to it. If it is still a little loud after a couple of hundred of miles then just get a testpipe to really reduce the drone.
