Put the deposit on her last night. She's due in may!
can't wait!
Anyone know what you can do if you get the VIN? like how to look up the production number and stuff like that.

Now THAT'S a great pic, kcopp. East TN in the fall.. ahh... I'm from Nashville.. flat country...
It was a tough choice for me--my First Sighting was of a silver/red... but I chose silver/black instead... an agonizing decision but one I'm happy with! A silver/red would match my mower, though...

Kcopp: that is a really sweet pic. what i'm really worried about is that '95 honda civic wont last the 7months i have to wait now. its already had axle problem n' stuff. then i'll have to settle for something cheaper.
Benjamin: what color did you get?

insomniak, as a side note, if you just put in your deposit, i believe you still have time to decide on color.
as for me, i put in my deposit in october and the dealer will call me up in february to order the color i want. he says honda will call him on an allocation and then request the customer's color choice. i have a bit of time still. i'm up in the air about color and even more so now since some guy here posted a news bit that the blue will be offered in '02. i'm looking for blue s2000 pics on the net and from the ones i've seen they're nice, but blue doesn't particularly go well with amber turning lights up front. the european/asian versions have the white covering there instead.
white and black go with amber since they are the most basic of colors... yellow goes ok with the amber. silver just does not look good with amber and neither does the blue.
but if the silver was clearlighted with the black seats, that'd be pretty good.

Insomniak, you should try and keep the Civic running as long as possible. Makes a great daily driver or at least a bad weather car. I drive a '97 Civic EX to work every day and drive the S2000 on the weekends.

i might switch out the turning lights to white ones later. but i'm pretty sold on the silver.. shows the lines just right. i have a black civic now and its impossible to keep clean. white, and yellow just aren't me. i would sure as hell take them for free. I'd definately consider the Indy Blue though.
I can't keep the civic as a daily driver.. i'd like to but as it is with it as a trade in i can barely afford the s2k.
