Default Just ordered New Tires - s-03s PP

Just ordered from Tirerack.com

S-03s PP
Front 205/55-16 $144 each
Rear 225/50-16 $162 each

They said they just lower their price on these.

Any feedback on performance and ride is appreciated.

Thanks

the S03PP in 225 for the rear is not going to give you the same contact patch as the stock SO2 225's.

remember the stock SO2's in 225 are really wide - much wider than most - if not all - other 225's.

my 255x35x18 SO3's are about as wide as the stock SO2's.

see if you can change your order

just my opinion...

ps. do a search, someone posted some comparative pics way back of the tread width of 255x35x18 SO3's and the stock 225x50x16 SO2's.

I ordered 245/45YR16 S-03 from Tire rack . Should have tomorrow. Fits on 7.5 to 9 inch wide wheels 9.6 section width and a tread width of 9.1 , 24.6 diameter. Stock Honda Spec .S-02 9.2 section width 8.5 tread width and 24.8 diameter . I think that they will work OK . I will post after install.

I have the Bridgestone Potenza S-03's! I love them! No real loss of grip. . .you'll just need to give them some time. About 1k or so miles should get them to where you fel confident!

I drove my S2000 with the S-03's to the DragonBall Run in Knoxville and the tires NEVER sqwelled! They held on tight! We were running some pretty tight curves at 40mph+! Even ran on the interstate at a whopping 120mph+ and they were fine!

Here's a link to my thread on the S-03's. . .
