I have an '03 and switched to SO3's after wearing out 2 sets of 02's. Switched because the S03's are way better in rain and seem to handle just as well. I have run both S02's and S03's on the same autocross course and they ran equal times. They probably won't last any longer but the rain driving improvement is worth the switch especially with the tail happy tendency of the S2k in wet conditions.

I run Potenza RE750's...they do pretty good and are especially good in the wet. They are more economical too

I'm freakin' happy for you, man. I know exactly how it feels. I just wish I wasn't working today. I'd be out driving and breaking my baby in.

Congrats on the new car. You have a nice RSX. I have an 03' also and my wife has the RSX type S 04'. I have one rear tire much worse than the other on my S2k (I tend to drift to the same side, left turns). Tires do wear quickly on this car. And being that I too have had many hondas and toyotas (front wheel drive cars), I would highly recommend you give yourself some time to get accustomed to this vehicle. It gets a bit squirrly in the rear and the rain season is in. It's a great car you can master but heed everyone's warning, you will lose traction. Enjoy, the new ride.

Very nice car; Doesn't it feel like heaven? I love it so much! I bought my second silverstone 03 S Wednesday, and it is an even better car than my previous 01!
BTW, anyone knows if Khumo ecsta 700 are good tires? that's what the previous owners put.
