bottom line...it really doesn't matter.

i suppose other factors/differences between the ap1 and ap2 would help you decide.

me personally, i chose ap1 for the 9k redline.

Does the 1000rpm difference make that much of a difference in the long run or is it worth it to loose the rpm to get the low end power?
If you were to run laps around a track, you may enjoy the wide powerband of the F20C engine. For putting around town, or commuting to work, the F22C is a good engine.

For boost, the extra rev range could result in a very quick and powerfull engine.

My vote goes for the F20C FTW

When you talk about low end power, there is the assumption that the motor is not being driven hard. In the world of racing, you're always using all the engine revs. That means that any usable power at low revs is negated.

In the F20C on a closed course, most of the session is spent above 6k rpm's. This means that vtec is being used all the time, and thus propelling the car as fast as it will go.

You mentioned going turbo, but the question is what are your intentions for the car, as in driving habits? Are you going to do a lapping day with it, the 1/4 mile, or you just gonna drive to work

For lapping on a closed course, the F20C again get's my vote

Along with your new turbocharger, yer gonna need new tire's and brake's to slow that shit down

Thanks so much for all the response guys. This may be a silly question but what does UTH stand for?

As for the car the ultamite plan is to build a great track/every day driver that is why I am concerned with the low end power. I am so torn with what to get either a 2003 or a 2004?
