Well I went a few places today. I have wheel time behind all the cars. The RSX and S are the only ones left on the list... lol without much surprise. I mean it's no surprise the hondas are taking the top.

I like the RX8 but after some thinking I don't think I could get used to that gas mileage ... I love rotary and will always be a fan at heart... in fact I'm thinking of getting another FD for a fun on the side project... but the RX8 although fun and practical isn't the car I'm gonna get... period.

I'm heading to the Honda dealership at the end of the month, make them cut a better deal... it's their fault they went and added all those factory options =P I'll make them pay ME lol

and if not I can get the RSX-S at a good price, and just do aftermarket to make up for the A-spec package... and save money at that. So we'll see how it goes, hopefully if possible we can pull it by saturday! wish me luck guys!!

Okay so I go into brandon honda today because I notice they sold the berlina black (much to my surprise) s2000 they had in front. They got a new red one in and still had the suzuka and rio sitting right up front where they were before.

Apparently somehow someone decided to pay the full 42k for that berlina black *shrugz* dunno how someone found that to be a reasonable deal but whatever the case... the berlina was gone

So I talk to a sales rep about getting a new one in... we push numbers but he refuses to go under 35k with the same options and he's insisting around 34 after tax, tags, title, on a base berlina...

How much did you 05 owners pay? Should I just offer 30k OTD to the sales manager? he's a good guy and gave my sister a GREAT deal on her special edition civic coupe.... what do you all think I should do?

I thinking offering $30k OTD would be a bit unrealistic. If you figure tax, tag, and title that would put the price of the car below invoice I believe. I would say calculate about $500-800 above invoice(including destination), add TTT to that, and make that your offer.

If they are actually selling them for $2-3k above MSRP than good luck....you'll need it.

the 05 comes with the combo you want. Black exterior and Red interior.
I had the rsx-s.. it doesnt handle nearly as well as the S and the S is just a lot faster. However, the rsx S does have the stock bose speakers and more room. So whichever fits your life style. As the rx-8 goes, I think its freaking ugly.. thats why at the dealerships there are soo many.. Nobody wants em

Well you see the reason the S2k is in there is because it's my first true love.
The RSX-S is fun to drive, has a bit more practicality (not that I need it)......
Practicality?? NOT a word to be used when shopping for a sports car!! LOL

hyun how does the 05 come with black / black/red interior? I even went in today and asked and they said they could do it aftermarket but I'd be the one to pay... I'm sold on the S... I just need to find a berlina that I like for a reasonable price. so does 32k OTD sound okay? I mean invoice being 29k I'd say it's reasonble... anyone else agree?

I will have my dealer call you tomorrow and he'll ship you a brand new one for less than that, no problem. I've help others do that. Its not a big deal but you'll get a way better deal. My friends work for Acura I can tell you exactly what you should offer to pay for an RSX-S if you'd like.

Whatever you do, do NOT! pay anything more than $30k for the car. There just no need. I will help you get one and ship it to you for right around that + whatever the shipping is but either way it will be cheaper.

LMK if you need help
