The short review: Wow!, buy one, buy one now.

The Not-so-short review:
Ordered on friday, shipped monday, received today (wednesday). Ordered the Pearl (clear powercoated) knob. Beautiful. I had a Voodoo Knob on my Miatas (a black textured one) and it was good, felt really nice in my hand. But the combination of the S2000's direct shifter, and shortened lever are just incredible. You can almost feel each cog as you shift. A big thanks to the guys here who worked with Bob Kreuger to make the countersunk knob. I'll take pictures once I get my Rick leather stuff. I think I want to sent it to get it engraved, but I dont know if I'd be able to go back to the OEM knob for that amount of time.

Recommendation: Stop what your doing and phone or fax or hand deliver your order for a knob.

http://www.teamvoodoo.com if you the words Voodoo Knob mean nothing to you.

39.35...$31.95 for the knob, $2.40 CA
sales tax, and $5.00 for shipping. This is from Voodoo Bob directly.. might be a buck or two cheaper from elsewhere, but I didnt find anyone that showed applications other than Miata on their sites.. Granted, I didnt look very hard.

I just received my Voodoo Spun Aluminum knob last night.

I love it too!!! It takes a bit of getting used to as the throw is soooooo short (even shorter than the stock knob), but it is really cool and thoroughly recommended. Very cheap mod that is easily justified.

My knob cost $24.95 and $5 priority mail shipping and handling. Ordered it on Thursday of last week.

Cheers,

Got mine a week + ago. Sent it to the Knobmeister to get it engraved. Just got it back on Monday. Looks and feels just awesome! Knobmeister did a great job on the engrave. I really like the feel of it too. The throw is SO short now it's just a flick of the wrist! I think I paid $30 plus $15 for the engraving. Got the pearl one as well. Great compliment to Ricks goodies! Once I get them developed I'll post pics.

How is this pearl knob compared to the stock aluminum one in terms of hot and cold? You know -- popsicle in winter, branding iron in summer? Team Voodoo lists a standard and a magnum knob. Which one did you people get? What's the difference? Appreciate any info.

After ya get used to the voodooo knob, stick the
stock version back on for a few blocks.... feels like
your driving a UPS truck (or school bus).....

I did that at lunch, then quickly switched to mr.
voodoo.

I've yet to hear of someone who wasn't surprised and impressed by this upgrade. It was cdelena, among others, who worked with Voodoo Bob to come up with the excellent design for the S2000. Thanks again for a job well done.

xviper - the Voodoo knob gets just as hot and cold, and is only available in standard.
