Just saw a new Honda Commercial (hope this isn't a repost)
I just saw a Honda commercial with Michael Andretti sitting in the passenger seat of a red S2000 with a teenager driving it. He peels out then does some drifts on neighborhood street and then they cut to the Indy car on the track. Not sure what the commercial was promoting..(maybe just Honda in general) but it was the first commercial I have seen with an S in it. they should have used Spa Yellow instead of Red hahah. Has anyone else seen this commercial recently? or is it really old and I will need to have this thread deleted since its a repost from long ago? hopefully you all catch it.

There's actually two commercials with the red S and Michael Andretti. One has him telling the kid to continually turn left, and the other one is something about drifting or slipping out the rear end. Can't remember, but they're aimed to advertise Honda's involvement in CART.

You guys are lucky. I only ever saw one commercial on terrestrial TV dedicated for the S2K in the last 2.5 years in Japan.
It was a silver/black interior with an actor driving quite spiritedly in twisties surrounded by woodland
Wish I could see more.

Does the commercial mean that Honda promotes drifting and spinning wheels? So does this mean if I blow my rear I can use the commercial as an example of what I thought Honda wanted me to do with the car?

The commercial is highlighting Honda's involvement with the real IndyCar Series(IRL) which in itself is a great open wheel series. CART is on a decline and on it's last legs. Don't believe me? Check out it's stock price (MPH)
