just wondering, how many s2000's are out there anyway? do they still limit the number of them coming to the us? i thought there was to be only 5000 each year. sure seems like there are a bunch of them out there. why are the cars losing their value? i'm not looking to get rid of mine or anything, just wondering....

 

Almost all cars depreciate in value.

 

i guess i meant why are they losing there value so fast. maybe that's just the way it is.

In short, total of 37,451 S2000 were sold by American Honda between 1999 and 2003.
1999: 3,400
2000: 6,797
2001: 9,682
2002: 9,684
2003: 7,888

 

they've fallen, sure, but every car has fallen. the S2000 less so.

GM and Ford throwing rebates and 0% to hawk their junk sure hasn't helped the matter.

 

These numbers are not just for the USA. I belive that it is for all of North America including Canada. The numbers in the USA have been about 6,000 units per year.
