Which one is better?

 

u want the name brand? or the cheaper brand? thye do teh same thing, gains are about the same, basically preference. K&N is bit louder, Comptech looks kooler (preference)

 

Name brands does nothing for me. I can get comptech @ 25% off but its still more than the KN. I heard that the foam filter flows a tad bit better than the KN, but I doubt its much different.

Not to mention the Comptech fits like shit and needs a lot of work to keep the rattles to a minium.

 

My K&N is loud and gorgeous... great accent to the engine bay, the quality is top notch, it's cheaper AND I might add that air filtering systems is pretty much WHAT K&N does

Far as I recall both make about the same power right? I mean neither is a turbo or SC...

So it's about money/the look/the sound isn't it....

I'm happy with my Fipk and the money in my bank

 

I was going to go with the FIPK, but ended up getting the Injen CAI, I would most definitely take the K&N over the comptech
