I have/enjoy the Comptech. The fit is great and it does not rattle. I think - don't shoot/flame me if I wrong that Comptech is heavily involed or financed by Honda so components are really engineered to fit and work. I think like almost every after market it the installer is key to look/fit/performance etc.

I got the K&N and never have had a problem with rattling or buzzing, but I have heard that about the comptech in a few cases.

I choose the K&N becuase it was the cheapest of them all but seemed to have great quality with no problems. I don't regret my decision at all.

k&n also sits in the same location as the stock airbox, so you don't have to perform any acrobatics to change the filter, AND THERE'S NO CHANCE OF HYDROLOCK

Name brands does nothing for me. I can get comptech @ 25% off but its still more than the KN. I heard that the foam filter flows a tad bit better than the KN, but I doubt its much different.

Thanks for the response.
geberally, better flow = worse filtration.

I went with the FIPK because the price was right. Fit is excellent. No rattling/vibrations.
