Default Keep my 2000 or buy a new 2002?

I'm kinda confused about what I should do, so I thought I would see what you guys think...

I orginally purchased my 2000 S2000 under the impression that it would be a limited one year run only. Now that the 2002 models are out, I guess that idea is shot to sh*t. I've been looking at the new 2002 model, and I like what I see, I can actually place my BA tweeters in the new factory mounts instead. I can also have a glass rear window too, I'd love the defroster for the short Kansas winters.

The local Honda dealership is getting a new Black/Black S2000 next month, and if I want, I can have it. I wanted black originally, but couldn't find it, now I can have it.

All the parts I have for my car, performance wise, have yet to be installed, so as long as they will fit the '02 model (why shouldn't they?) I can keep them and use them on the new car. The stereo upgrades I've made should be a simple 2-3 hour job to remove and turn back to factory spec.

Any thoughts? I have about 2 weeks to decide, please help, I don't know what to do.

Price isn't really that much of an issue to me, expecially since S2000's are such a commodity where I live.

My main concern is keeping a piece of what could be Honda history vs. buying a newer and probably better version. Since each new year seems to bring new S2000's, the collector's value of my car seems to have gone to sh*t. That is the biggest reason I want to get a new one, it just doesn't seem to matter what year it is anymore.

I got mine in Nov '99 and the only reason I'd ever want to get a new one is to get Monte Carlo blue, which obviously isn't going to happen anytime soon, or a Type-R version - same deal. Since I've had no problems with my '00 model, there's no reason for me to upgrade. As in, it'd be a whole lot of money for essentially zero gain.

have you seen how ugly the black/red is? IMHO it is hands down, one of the worst interior packages around.

black/black is nice and dignified, and much less conspicuous

You can always cut your door panels to drop in the tweeters its not that hard - really! The loss that you would take on the car would be better spent if you got a hardtop for the cold months.
