Keep my 2000 or buy a new 2002?

(You asked for opinions, here's mine)

It would be a big fat waste of money. Unless there is something wrong with your current car that can't be fixed, stick with it. There really isn't much on the new car that would be worth more than 1k max. Your hit will be at least 4k, plus tax on the new one. I'm sure there is something more useful you can do with the money.

If you can sell the 2000 model around $30,000 and buy the 2002
@MSRP then you should go for it.

The glass rear window may be nice, but it's awfully small. From pictures, the red interior looks like a pimpmobile, but that's just my opinion. If you're having problems with your transmission, the 02 model might help there. Otherwise, you're burning money to not very good purpose, in my opinion. The only reason I have a later model is because my first one was totalled (I can readily afford to buy a later year anytime); otherwise, I'd still be driving my black/black 2000, bought 11/99.

I like some of the changes for 2002 also, but I wouldn't trade my 200 in until there were some major changes (like a type-R version).
