Keep the Z, or get an S?

I would say go for it. If you worry, maybe you should get a 350Z, that would satisfy your torque requirement.
Sold my 95 300zxTT 450hp. Spent $$$$ moddding it. Did all the mods myself........I k new that car inside and out. Ended up buying an S. Going straight in a line gets old fast and don'teven ask how much $$$$$ I spent on that car when something broke. This was when it was stock and lots of things still broke. It was my 1st real sports car but 300zx are played out. I mean you see them on the road alot and my amuse s2000 gets 100x more looks now. To me the styling just got old.
Sr productions has it a little wrong. ANY model s2k can match the TT stock for stock. A MY00-03 runs a 13.8 in good conditions. The 04+ also runs 13.8 in good conditions. A 300zxTT with a good driver runs high 13s also.
0-60 times are actually faster for the 00-03 than the 04+. You will be matching the low 5seconds of the TT. All the same.
Like I said dragging gets old, the s2k is 10000000000000000000x funner just to cruise around and just drive and drive and drive with the top down on a nice day. Could never do that with the z and have the same xperiance.
All I can say is sell your Z now. TT Zs can be had so cheap 6k-8k. I modded mine like crazy and was so thinking I'd lose money but the fact that I had a 95 model and gobs of HP convinced this army guy to buy my Z lol. Otherwis I would have lost a shit load of $$.
I'm not bashing the Z, fun car and I liked owning it but its just old and having things break again and again and forking up the cash also got old....
