No. These are ones I bought in 2004 from someone in New York. I just wanted to know if these are what Key caps are. I've never heard them called that before.

Yes, they are one and the same - but there are different types.

Damn it, Rick. I wanted those for WTD. I need this performance part! You're killin' me!

JK.

I'll wait with the hopes that this gets straightened out.

All the comments made about Rick's pricing being too high for this item, now you all know why it may be higher than others for a similar looking item.

You get what you pay for from Rick's.

Rick. I recieved my caps yesterday. They arent bad, but sadly they arent to my liking. It looks like they got rubbed around a bit while in the envelope. The indent in the middle of them are barely noticable, but the outer edge of the cap, you can see black. Im afraid if i put them in, you will be able to see. I want to attempt to put them in to see how they look. Are they easy to take out if i dont like them? What should i do if i dont like them? Thank you.

I am in the same boat. While they would do the job, they seem subpar as far as the quality.

Horray! Mine came today, and they're fine. Installed they look just like they should.

Here's a tip that I first posted sarcastically in another thread about this topic but I now mean seriously: detail your keyholes with a cotton swab and something (I used rubbing alcohol) before putting the caps in. I was surprised at how much gunk I got off what looked like clean metal.

Also, if a cap doesn't seem to fit, try it upside down. HPH
