An alternative to consider is the vacuum method. You hook up a 12-V fuzzbuster vacuum cleaner to the steering column just right, and it will suck the key into the keyhole. You don't need no damn light that way.

I had a girlfriend like this once, but that's another story...

Mount a tiny spot light on the tip of the key. It can be powered by a small battery next to the transponder chip.

Here's another option. Stick this baby on the side of the center console right at knee level. When you get it, whack it with your knee and there you have it - instant light.

Oh, another idea (I'm just full of 'em).

Hook up one of these:

To one of these:

"Clap on, clap off"

Put your fingertip along the key so you can feel beyond the end, then slip your key in when you feel the hole and orient yourself properly. Also, be gentle - its a pretty sensitive area.

A light would be nice, but I've never seen it on the S. Another option is some aftermarket alarms have timers to keep the dome light on for a period of time.

simply buy one of those "jackets" that you can place the key in......and the key itself will have a light to find the hole at a touch of a button.....dunno where to get one of these buy look around and youll find them
