Default Keychain Ideas

So I used to drive an 06 Lexus with pushstart and all I needed to unlock the car and start it up was a simple keyfob remote that I never needed to take out of my pocket.

I picked up an S about a week ago now and I'm not used to having so many keys.. I used to have my house key and gate remote (for my condo community) on a separate keychain but I've since decided to put everything on one chain. So I now have...

-office key
-house key
-car key
-gate remote
-car remote

As you might imagine.. this makes for quite a bulky package of keys/remotes and isn't the most comfortable to walk around with in my pocket.

What do you walk around with on your keychain... Anyone have any suggestions for some interesting keychains to help reduce bulk?

Thanks!!

I'd leave the gate remote in the car, not on a key chain...why carry it around?

Now you are at three keys and a remote.

I will usually just have my car keys and that is it. I keep my house key in a hidden spot outside since my family has a key pad for the garage, and we all have garage door openers. All of my other keys i just keep inside my vehicle for when i go somewhere. I will take out the key, use it, put it in my pocket, and when i get back to the car put it in its place again.

I am very interested in doing some sort of conversion on the ignition system to allow for an RFID keyfob instead of the key+ ugly-as-sin-from-1994 keyfob we're given. I'm thinking something a-la the new Corvette.

yeah i've been doing some searching and it seems like the common consensus is that the newer integrated keyfobs will not work with the S key/remote.

such a pity but i bet someone with an EE degree could spend a few hours getting this to work and make a decent amount of money doing it....

For my community, you use the gate key to get into the gym as well.. that would mean I would have to stop by my car every time I go to the gym.. wish I could get a duplicate gate remote.
