Default KG/MM or Spoon

Hey guys, I'm looking to lower my car soon and was wondering which springs to go with since I can't afford coilovers. My main concern is handling. I don't wanna mess anything up. Also, I am running 17" 255/40 R and 225 45 F. I'd appreciate it if you all can list any experience you've had with either the KG's or Spoon springs.

I have the KG/MM DR21 Race Springs. They lower the car about 1.35". The ride is excellent with no 'pogo-ing'. I lopped off one coil off my fronts to get the car to sit even though. Handling has not been affected. With 18's, my initial rear camber after the spring install was -3.8 degrees. Knocked it down to -2.6 after the alignment which is much more respectable (and easier on the tires!).

Evidently, I've heard that the Spoon springs are made by KG-MM under license. So, maybe they're the same thing? Either way, you can't go wrong.

My KG/MM are progressive rate also.

Sime, do you mean you cut one coil off? Top or bottom? My front does sit higher than the rear.

Ok, seems like the race springs are very popular. what about my wheels. can i uses race with 17"/255/9 R and 225/7.5 F or will i rub?? I'm thinking of going sport just so i don't have to worry about it, but I'm wondering if I won't even notice the difference. In that case, I want race.

Just looking for the perfect blend of practicality and performance.

tks
