so i know kia makes the 4.77's any one know the part number or what car they come in?

I got a 4.44 (40-9) gear from the front axle of Kia Sportage 4WD model, I think it was MY2002. I got this from a junk yard in Korea so it was from their domestic model. The ring and pinion fit the stock diff housing perfectly.

 

Sportage 4x4 front axle if I remember correctly. But definitely try the search.

Does anybody remember roughly how much the ring, pinion, and final gear from the junkyard was approx.??

 

I paid about 50,000 Korean Won for them, which is about $50.
