Default This kid needs an intervention

I was young once so not trying to go too hard on him but cmon. He spends as much time on the wrong side of the road as in his own lane. Besides what’s the point in seeking out a curvy road just to try to straighten it out.

He’s an absolute idiot driving like that. And his passenger is even stupider for being in the car with him.

He would definitely get kicked out of our Dragon group drives for that.

Good thing he didn't have a POLE jump in front of him. Take it to a track, A-hole!

I learned back in my early motorcycle riding days that crossing the yellow lines (especially in a blind corner) can equal death. I've always heeded that, no matter what I'm driving.

Pretty stupid... Lots of arrogance shown in the comment section as well. Says he leaves room for error and will only do it at night, etc. There is some reasonable risk to crossing yellows with a lot of sight down the road but this is way beyond that. Particularly the turn at 3:50ish is completely blind and pushing way too hard to compensate for other road goers, if they appear out of the corner. Hopefully nothing bad happens but I feel terrible for anyone accompanying him on a back road.

I'm willing to bet most of us can say "I've been young and stupid"... this is a classic example of how that can be extremely dangerous to not only ourselves but to many others.
There's nothing wrong with enjoying a spirited drive and carving some curves... but there is an obvious distinction between that and excessive dangerous driving.
I feel like these kids are getting more and more bold in the risks they take - I'm wondering if social media and YouTube in particular are the cause of this. Thinking they will become internet heros or in the chase for those "like" clicks... seeing others do stupid things providing that false sense of "normal".
This kid's parent hopefully will see this video and take those keys off of him... at the 2:07 mark is when he luckily catches a glimpse of the cyclist. He had 1 second to get back over to his side by the time he would have hit him. Had he been 1 second quicker he would not have had time to get back over and that would have been a fatal hit. 1 second...

I’m refraining from beating the kid up too hard. I’ll just say that I’m glad I didn’t have an S2000 at 18 or so. Actually they weren’t invented yet lol. I’m not saying I wasn’t young dumb because I was. There were times when I needed a talking to as well but I can honestly say I've never cut lanes anywhere near that egregiously. He is a ticking time bomb driving like that.

I guess there's no risk of wandering livestock there. Hitting a steer at even a moderate rate of knots will destroy the front of the average SUV so it would be a one-way ticket to Lower Earth in an S2000.

I would hate being in the passenger seat. I don't believe the driver has anywhere near the control that he brags having, not for a minute. He claims that he applies throttle just to the point of the LSD locking up ? - okie dokie
