Those polished MF-10s look awesome! The car's new grin is kinda goofy looking, now that I look at it closer...it's like this --->

Edit: Wait a sec, if you look really closely at this pic: Do those tires say Potenza S-03, or is it just me?

[b]Sorry to say, but this looks like one of those cars I drive by and start laughing at..

Even worse, you took a beautiful car and made it look ugly.

Well maybe a bit harsh.

Hello All-

Yes you read that correctly. The tires on both our Project S2000's are the new Bridgestone S0-3. Bridgestone kindly air freighted the first two sets of these tires in the U.S. from Japan for our use. The official U.S. release of these tires is early February.

Performance...... Yes! The tires are a huge step up from the S0-2's!

Please give us a call (262-593-2800) or email us (tech-staff@kingmotorsports.com) if you have any qyestions on these tires.

Cheers!

Scott

Step up??!!!! Are these tires for strict track use? If I'm not mistaken, the S02's are one of the best for street use. . .how did they up that?

Are they also step up in price? Will they be replacing the S02's on our S2K that are newer models?

Hello Again,

The new Bridgestone S0-3 is a street tire. While the present S0-2 is a VERY good tire, it is now several years old in development. The new S0-3 tire is based on the Bridgestone F-1 rain tire. It uses all the technology gained from development learned through the Bridgestone F-1 tire program.......

Cheers!

Scot:

Is there a specific S2000 version of the S03 that addresses the handling of the car? Narrower fronts and wider rears than standard, like the S2000 S02?

I've run the S02's on the track and they do very well, will the S03's be a better track tire or are they more suited as a street/rain tire?

Oh, and will pricing be comparable.

Thanks

I suppose that if one is going to 17" wheels, the oem version wouldn't be applicable anyway. If Honda eventually goes with S03s for oem S2Ks, that would be interesting!
