Hey people-

Wow- y'all reacted so strongly to a simple front and rear bumper swap, and adding a wing that actually provides aerodynamic benefit. I didn't expect that much from so many different people. I wonder what the people who added front splitters and side vailances are thinking...(probably- I'm never gonna show a image of my car here!)

I think the reason Scott went with the black gloss on the inside of the "mouth" was to minimise the busy-ness of the area there- remember there's brake duct funnels, a center bumper support brace covering, and other assorted areas that probably wouldn't look too good if more attention were drawn to it. Black hides most of that pretty well.

I'm dying to try those tires too. I didn't realise they were going to be S-03 tires. I hope they didn't go with a harder compound w/ water channels ala Michelin's Pilot Sport. Those Michelins are nowhere near as good in the dry as MXX3s, but do perform better with standing water on the ground. Since the S-02 already had water channels I guess Bridgestone is on a slightly steeper learning curve...

About the Mugen S1 seats- I love them. They are easier to get in and out of than some of the other one piece racing buckets that I've used before, but hold just as well under the type of driving that I do, both on and off the track. At the same time, I have alot of friends who absolutely hate them and think that these are the most uncomfortable seats they have ever used- their tastes run towards the "la-z-boy" type of seat. I've had these seats in my Type R for over a year- they were in the Car&Driver article when they tested the Type R- and have had no complaints- except the rear seats are inaccessable (no tilt forward!). Nobody sits in the rear of my cars that only have two doors anyway...

Pinky-

I think that's the best photo of my brake ducts yet!

I don't know if it's just me or not, but didn't the car remind you of the 98- camaros? If you cover the smilling bumper and look at it from the hood down to the headlighs. It reminds me of the camaro for some reason. Take a quick look don't stare for details.

Actually, I wanted to move this back to the top because I wanted more people to respond to the car. I honestly want to see more responses, be it positive or negative.

After looking at the pics for another full day, I am absolutely in love with the Mugen kit. I want to see if I stand alone in this thought. It looks as though the majority of people hate it strongly.

I plan to get this body kit when the finances are a little better (not hurting or anything, just saving for the purchase of my 1st house). In fact, I think this kit with the hood and the Mugen 3-piece wing (on the Black King S2K) would look even better on my Black on Black S2K. I'd paint the inside of the mouth silver.

You're right though, I've been feenin' to get a ride in Nick's Nissan for about a year now. In fact, even though his first one (yes, he's had two) was not tuned properly by U--D, I wanted a ride in that one.

I'm just curious as to how the S-03's are in comparison to the S-02's when it comes to price, tread wear rating, and performance...I'd like to see the tread pattern too.

this kit may look potentially intimidating on a black stook. for me, it will probably take sometime to get used to. but nontheless, it is interesting. however, not too crazy about the rims!

Me neither! It also looks like it's missing the chrome piece over the fender arch.

You need to see nick's car in person to
truely appreciate the beauty of this car.
The wing may not be for every one or the
front end but, see it in person and you will
be impressed,

yes, i agree bclark. IMO, a pic. never gives us a true feeling of the actual thing. merely an image of what it might be.
