which koni shocks does everyone use

Yup. Adding insult to injury, once you pull away the carpeting, you'll notice that the top of the left rear shock is very close to some fuel tank-related piping, and is consequently really damn hard to get to.

One solution is to get an extra adjuster knob, saw off the base, then slot the handle, thus reducing the height of the adjuster by the better part of an inch. It's still pretty hard to get at the shock with a knob modified in this manner, so you might want to either set the adjustment at install time and then never touch it, or alternately leave the adjuster knob on the left rear shock all the time.

pedalfester, i meant koni yellows are the best out of all readily available/mainstream shocks. im sure there are much better "race" shocks out there with the $$$.
