Default Koni vs Tokico

Hey everyone,
To start off, I bet this has been played out. I searched, and found very little about Tokico, but I know Koni's are common on the board.
I was wondering which you preferred. I don't know the main difference between Koni Red and Yellow, or Tokico Whites and Illuminas or whatever. I am new to shocks, but I think it's time I look into it. Any help would be appreciated. And does anybody know a good place to order them from or who has the best deals? Thanks a lot!

AJ Racing has Koni Yellows for $140 each!!! By far the best price I've found. As I understand, the Koni Reds are discontinued. Noone used them on the S anyway. May have not been available for the S - not sure.

Never dealt with Tokico - sorry.

Is Tokico providing shocks for the S2000 now?

Tokico whites or illuminas are the adjustable ones. Only 5 way adjustable I think. Tokico blues are non adjustable, and of course, the lower end of the Tokico line. I've only used blues as they were cheaper and I didn't need the adjustability on my civic or crx.

I'd go with what people use here, which are konis. That many people can't be wrong.

I've had the Tokico Blues on my Integra for about 5 years now and they've been fine for non-adustables.

That being said, I was under the impression that Konis were the only thing available for the S2000 aside from OEM or full coilovers.
