Glad you're enjoying it, too... I myself wanted to get mine at the best price. I couldn't bear to live with myself if I had gotten ripped off in any fashion. I figure if I can save several thousand dollars, I can put it towards a hard top or some bolt ons. Just my $0.02

Shippy, I noticed in those pictures that the 06 has some sort of shelf in the dash in front of the passenger...can you verify this and perhaps tell us the size. Is it enough to put CD's there or perhaps a map or an ipod?

thanks
It's not really large enough to hold CDs. Each one of the two side-by-side shelves will hold a single CD, but not two because the other end of the CD case will hit the lower part of the dash. For something smaller like an iPod or flexible like a map, it should fit just fine. I find the storage between the two seats (with the trunk unlatch button) to be the perfect size to hold 10 CDs.

I don't have the exact size handy, though. I'd have to measure it and get back.

By the way, how does the stereo sound with those new speakers in the rollbar area?

Did your car comes with extra options ? The sticker should be $34,600(destination included).
Your referring to MSRP, which is different then sticker. The sticker prices takes MSRP and adds additional dealership charges (i.e., dealer markup (if any), mud guards, pin striping, etc.). I am paying $700 above invoice and this is only because I used to work at the dealership and have bought 4 Hondas from them.

Ouch...thats steep. Not trying to make you feel bad but I bought my '06 S for $31.5k + ttt. Ended up being ~$33.8k OTD.
Not sure how you got the car for that price...seeing as how invoice is ~32K.

Congrat! Don't mean to make you feel bad on your new S2000. I know 2006 model will cost bit more compared to 2005 models, but paying $35000 sounds bit too much. Just as a comparison, I paid $29,600 for a 2005 silverstone/black 4 month ago.

Enjoy your ride!
The only reason you got your '05 for so cheap is because the dealerships wanted to whore the '05s out to make way for the '06s.

I've never driven a pre-06 so I cannot compare, but I think the OEM sound system is pretty sweet.
