Default Laptop mounting

hello

i was thinking... is there a "graceful way to mount a laptop in the S2K? it would be nice to use a full screen nav system, take all the mp3s along, or watch DVDs on a 15 inch screen

has this been done before? maybe some kind of foldaway flexible arm?

That toy is just a car accident waiting to happen.....But it's still pretty neat. I just don't think it belongs in a car. Maybe you can get away with it in an Escalade or something but a 2 seat sports car wouldn't be the best Idea. Dialing a phone is hard enough....

lemme clarify...

i would never be using this while driving... maybe a glance over at the nav screen, but not more

i would want this for the passenger maily, the ability to tilt it in my direction, and have it be foldaway, so that i may get it out of the way too

this cannot be harwired; that would suck

I really doubt it to be honest - there's simply no space for it.

Just toss it on the passenger's seat

This would be nice for tuning purposes as well. For those of us that have an EMS and can't drag a passenger along all the time

Ahh, I see. We use a really small laptop for GPS when we travel. It fits nicely in a case under the seat when not in use. Plus we get to take advantage of wireless internet in the hotls. That might be a better option then that Car PC thingy...

I have one of these under my seat, and a 8" touch screen mounted in the dash.
