Just a little story I wanted to let you guys know. I live in Pompano Beach, Florida where the largest Porsche dealership (Champion Porsche)in the world is. After visiting Circuit City in the back of Champion Porsche to buy some cool cd's for my new Yellow S2000, I decided to take a cruise thru the Porsche dealership and did I make their heads turn. I made sure that I drove very slowly so each salesperson that was outside could take a look at my Boxster(S)beater for half the price. I have to say that this was a great day for all the Honda S2000's out there. Next week I am putting on some OEM chrome wheels and I think this time I will head down to Southbeach in Miami.

A great day indeed!! Can you post pics of the new wheels when you get them? I'd love to see the car!

When shopping for a new car, a Boxster from Champion Porsche was on the short list. The salesman that I was working with was, by far, the best of all the salespeople that I interacted with. He was professional, knowledgable, and very straightforward; quite distinct from those at Honda and BMW. After I bought the S2K, he asked that I stop by so that he could check it out ... he liked the car .

The S2K turns heads at SoBe too. Go have fun!

Dan Sutton from champion porsche is a great guy to work with. Any chance that this was who you worked with?

Exactly! Sounds like you're doing the same thing that I did last year. If you see him again, say hello to him for me! He took my car for a brief test drive. Unfortunately there was a lot of traffic on I95 and he couldn't open it up.

I live in Boca Raton, and I know the Maharaj family (the people who own Champions) and stopped by one to show the s2k, lets just say that none of the sales people even try to argue who had the better performing roadster.

I guess that depends upon who you talk to.. I knew it sounded familiar and looked to see that The Porsche Store here in the Dallas area also claims to be the largest in the world. From outward appearances I cannot image a larger dealership..

cdelena:

Checked out the link. I grew up in Dallas so I tend to click on anything with a reference to Dallas.

In any case, damn that's a big store. I must visit it someday....and maybe buy something!
