I am shorter than you but heavier and really barrel chested. I found that the width of the seatback at the kidneys improves after a time (it will stretch in a bit). Also, I have found that a little lumbar support brings your back forward a smidge in the seat and effectively makes the seatback wider. There are really nice inflatable lumbar supports available from Tonybell57 (he's a vendor but I can't recall the company name at the moment. While waiting for those or if you want to see what that is like, you can always fold and place a small hand towel between the seatback cushion and the seatback body (the cushion is not attached on the sides and you can reach behind it).

If you search around a bit, you will find that people have removed the stock seat and lowered it by reshaping the seat bottom pan. I believe there may also be some seat lowering rails that lower the seat a bit less than 3/4" if I recall but they are not cheap. They would be way cheaper than seats, though.

I hope that helps.

you'll need a mugen side mount, which is suppose to the lowest s2k seat bracket availble.

the thing is, every body contour is different, my 6'3 and 210 athletic build is different from your.(actually i am alot short and fatter )

so find a good tuner store with abunch of seat to test fit what's best for you, sparco, momo seat tense to have alot more pudding than most japanese seat, which could be a good or bad thing.

before you buy it, make sure you post back, since there's some seat that will not fit or will not let you use the old glove box you have in the car

The folks that have installed them have good things to say.
I have the drivers seatrails on back order, so I can't say for sure.

Just ordered mine. Bulletproof is expecting a shipment from BYS any day now and they should have some of the seat rails in there. I have asked a lot of people that have them, and had a friend sit in one that was local to him. He said it lowered him and he felt much better. Can't wait to get mine in.
