00 was the last year. Everything since has been Civics with body kits.

The terrible thing about these persistent and pointless rumours is that one day they will stop producing the S2000 and the rumourmongers will say, "See, we told you so!".

Honda of America only runs cars in 5 year increments for the most part.. not counting Acura.... i.e. 92-95 civic 96-2000 civic 2001-current : Prelude 92-96 97-2001 etc etc etc sooo.. as long as Honda sticks by this they will kill it after 05 or build another one for 06

You are aware that Honda is a Japanese company? And that Acura is just a marketing ploy to make Americans pay more for Hondas?

No... im a complete moron

That's why I said not counting Acura because the Integra went from 94-2001 as the same model basically. Everywhere else in the world where it is still Honda, but United States its Acura. The S2k is not branded by Acura in the US therefore falls more under the model changes of Honda of America.

No matter where your at in the world the model changes change the same regardless of Acura or Honda. I just sited some examples of some Honda of America models that follow this 5 year guideline which the S seems like it would have no reason not to follow these guidelines.

On a quick side note I hate when people argue that their Lexus isn't a Toyota or their Infiniti isn't a Nissan.... I noticed Honda finally started putting "A" badges on the Acura line of motors... maybe too many people were like.. hey.. this motor says Honda Motor Company.. I thought I bought an Acura

2003 was the last year of the S2000. 2004 was the first year of the S2200. The number after the S is supposed to be the displacement.

This isn't meant to be the start of a flamewar of 2.0 vs. 2.2. Each car has its merits.

The car is still on the AP chassis regardless of AP1 or AP2 F20C or F22C. So no... 2003 wasn't the last year of the S2000. Not to mention the rest of the world still has the F20C. Next

It could be argued that the 2000 was the Year of Honda's 50th birthday. The S2000 was a birthday present to "themselves"
