Yikes, I hope the haze wears off for you soon. Last year when I got rear-ended in my S2000, my neck and shoulders were sore for several days. Luckily, I didn't get a concussion, however.

And you're right about the Cobra replica, I would imagine you would have had neck and back injuries to add to the concussion you would have recieved from the roll hoop.

Same thing happened to me this week last year. Coming back to consciousness in the middle on an interection with a lap full of glass is a little disorientating. Stuff like this almost drives me to wear a crash helmet on public roads. Don't sweat the car, living through an accident is more important.
It's all starting to make sense now.

El-

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I hope you recover soon and echo Prolene's advise about seeing a physician. Head injuries can be a bit tricky.

I hope you recover quickly.

Sucks. I hope you feel better soon.

I had some similar things happen to me - completely tore off my rear bumper cover and mushed in the bumper itself a bit. Nothing wrong with the car besides that, fortunately. I was lucky in that I was only a bit dazed, and didn't have any lasting issues. I've gotten rear-ended pretty hard recently doing go-carts, too.

Makes me think it might be worthwhile to wear my helmet at all times!

I've been a bit of a fire brand on this board so
everyone's concern is both unexpected and
rather nice. Thanks

Well, I went to the hospital later that day (my
parents drove me) and that's were I got the
concussion diagnoses. I'm seeing a neurologist
later this week. I really got my bell rung but
they tell me I'll feel better in a few days.

I had a similar but much worse incident in my 98
Z24 (also brand new.) I was rear ended hard by
a large truck while stop in beltway traffic. The force
was such that the seat broke, but I did not suffer
a head injury.

I think wearing a helmet (and a HANS?) may make
some sense...

Now to find a body shop that can match the Spa Yellow

OUCH!
On all accounts. Hope you are OK, I think you are making a smart move by following up with the doctor.

Take care, hope everything turns out OK.
