I wired it up last night. Took 15 minutes. Great directions. Its worth the 20 dollars. It is one step further in s2k jacking deterrance.

Well, the most disquieting part of the install was walking 300 feet, last night, down to the mailbox that is in the cul-de-sac where the mountain lion has been seen twice in the last two weeks.

Once I retrieved the mod from the mailbox without being attacked, it was all pretty downhill from there.

I might suggest that folks who are installing the faux alarm understand that the kick panel that needs to be moved aside is actually screwed to the door jamb (in my '05) that you will remove. Removing the screw and setting the panel aside made it easier to get in and do the splice.

Took about 15 minutes which included at least one pause to check out some movement in the bushes.

The test drive revealed nothing, but when I got back to the house and shut things down, the light just blinked away. I just went out to the garage a few minutes ago to confirm and, you guessed it, it's still blinking.

Like I told Joe when I ordered it, when a product comes along that implements one of my first creative thoughts for an S2 mod, it's gotta be good.

received my product very promptly after payment...thank you.

I installed today. Directions are very clear & install quite simple. Most difficult is getting the OEM wire into the crimp connector and then applying pressure to the crimp....

Mod works as described. There is now a flashing red light - inidcating an alarm is set - when the vehicle is turned off.

Nice lite touch of added security.

Thanks again - good luck with your sales.

Great product and Joe was great responding to my emails. I installed mine the other day and it works perfectly. Instead of using the red wire splicer, I soldered the tip of the gray wire and just inserted it into the clip, which connects to the black wire (with the yellow stripe). If I ever want to remove the wires, I can just disconnect the plugs.

Hmm, I don't recall removing a screw. I'll double check tonight. Where exactly is that?

I've had mine for about a month now and it's worked flawlessly. It's even survived a track day! I like having the extra deterrent. Thanks, Joe!

highly recommend this product to all 04+ owners espeically without any alarm systems!
