i gotta try this as soon as i get back from travelling.

rev to 6k, throw my left foot to the side to let the clutch pop out fast, keep my foot mashed on the gas, and let's see what happens!

(sure hope i didn't miss anything)

here's something i always wondered about...is launching legal on a regular road as long as I stay under the speed limit? could it be considered reckless driving?

i'm on an ap2. scroll up and read my technique.. launching just short of vtec usually leads right into vtec as the wheels grip for me. but depends on the surface.

they can give you a ticket for impropper start. and wreckless driving is for jail time. with something like launching they can just give you agressive careless as a worst. i have a few cop friends. so i've asked all these questions lol

technically it's illegal because it's considered "show of power" or something like that. you can't screech your tires really.
