Launching the S2000.
Does anyone what to take credit for this launch video?
That's got to be hard on the diff and driveline.

The things that get caught on video these days is really amazing. Embarassing too.
The poor guy in the S2000 really didn't do too badly. Let me tell you about Ryan and show you that video.
Several years ago, before our Chief Mechanic learned to drive (he thought he was a great driver, but as you'll see, that's questionable), he was out driving around in Tripper Cooks autocross Miata, the silver CCR Miata known as "Thunder." The car is supercharged and making about 200 WHP, at the time the suspension was dialed in for a small amount of terminal oversteer, and Ryan was showing off for LeAnne, who was riding along and shooting video. It's hard to tell what's going on in this video too, but if you watch carefully you can tell that Ryan is drifting the car (and not very well). You can also tell that he knows he's about to do something stupid, becaue he grabs his seat belt (getting ready for the coming crash) and tightens it up. He then proceeds to do over $5,000.00 in damage to his bosses favorite car. It's crummy video, but if seeing someone fall down a flight of stairs makes you laugh, this may well have you rolling on the floor.
This is not on YouTube; I'm hosting it myself, so please right-click and save-as.

Priceless!!
Priceless!!
Thunder has had a hard life, but the little car can still take TOD at the local autocrosses (depending of course on who's driving and who else shows up for the event).

That was a little painful to see...he looks like a jolly character though. You can tell he's pooping himself after it happened about what kinda shape the car was in
