That was a little painful to see...he looks like a jolly character though. You can tell he's pooping himself after it happened about what kinda shape the car was in
Ryan is jolly enough, but sometimes I wonder about his judgement. I've never seen him more stressed or more depressed than he was right after crashing Thunder. He got worse than what you see in the video before he started getting over it. Fortunately it wasn't really much of a burden for Tripper and the car came back better than ever, so as Tripper likes to say, "It's all good."

Now, four years after the crash, we can all look at the video and laugh, and we all still enjoy giving Ryan a hard time. Tripper started calling him "Bender" because of the way he'd bent Thunder, and now that's what Ryan has on the vanity plates on his Miata. Time heals all wounds.

Nice, great nickname!

This is why I don't want to drive other peoples' cars, and people don't drive mine. Just take away the potential situation that might arise...and the cute nicknames that arise as a result

I won't drive anything I can't afford to fix or replace, but I'd still feel horrible if I broke or crashed someone else's car. It's all well and good to say, "it's just a car," but people who own the kind of cars I care about driving tend to get highly attached to their vehicles, so they're really not "just a car."

It's never fun to break something, especially when it belongs to someone else.
