LBP paint chip problem!
Remember, the paint for the S is very thin and fagile. Maybe the other S that you saw at meets just had better paint/clearcoat but still regarded as thin compared to other cars. We also don't really know how much rock chips are actually on your car. I doubt you would even know/hear every rock chip that hits your car making you believe you should have less than what you see. Truthfully, it will be hard for you to fight this through your dealership as they will just tell you normal wear and tear.
What I have done to prevent alot of chipping as many have mentioned, is put on the clear bra. I believe it is very much worth it. It covers my bumper, lights, 1/4 of my hood and fenders, side mirrors, lower bottom of both sides of the car, and lower sides of rear bumper.
