Sounds crazy but it is true.
I noticed oil drops after pulling my car out of the garge. The oil looked like crankcase engine oil. I took the car to the dealer and they were able to pin point the location of the drip.
Turns out that there is a bushing located on the lower trailing arm (just left of the rear diff) that is filled with oil. I would have never have guessed that. They made a few phone calls and sure enough it is indeed filled with oil. I will post some pics for you all to see.
So my car will have to go under the knife some time this week for one full day. I do not like the thought of that.
Has anyone else had this problem? By the way my car is a 2001.

I posted about a month back complaining about the fact that my rear shocker springs and adjacent areas of the chassis were covered in oil and dirt (sort of like throw off from a motorcycle chain). I am due for my 20,000 km service any day now and am going to have them look into this. I believe the rear shockers are leaking and this will have a consequent loss in damping performance.
