lease ending on "06 - What to do?
LBP, 15,000 miles.
My buy out is 19k and wholesale looks like 16,500. I'd buy it if I could get it for close to wholesale. I will talk to dealer soon. I still love the car.
On the other hand, a used 4-door M3 would be more practical as far as the wife is concerned.
And in the back of my mind I can't help but believe we are going to get smacked with much higher gas prices in the near future and I'm half tempted to buy an Insight.
Any thoughts on how to deal with the stealer?

Have you considered the new Pious...er..Prius? Looks much better and now can be had with a sunroof. I looked the Insight. Nice enough and I understand the shape is very important to minimize aerodynamic drag but it sure ain't nice to look at. I'll be in the same boat shortly with my lease coming to an end. I'm at a complete loss at what to get.
whoa all your choices are like completely different from each other.
s2k vs e90 vs insight...
since you are worried about gas mileage and want to keep your car i'd say just keep the s2000 but definately try to talk them down a little if you can. although 19k is good market value for an 06 with 15k miles.

.I also have a lease that is up
next month.AHF has a policy that you can extend twice.....I only extended for a year
but if I decide to give the car back in let's say four months I just have to give them 30 days notice. So it's actually a month to month lease and you continue paying off the principal plus interest..... so if I keep it a year the payoff is 16k+.It's a good choice for me because it's a payment I can afford and if something else peaks my interest I'll
hand the car back in.BTW I also love the car.

I guess whether I keep the car or not will depend in part on how much they will deal with me.
yes - the cars swirling around in my head are very different. That's my dilemma.
