Default Lease expires next year, keep the S or get another

My 03 S2000 lease expires next year, and I'm already thinking about what to do next yr (cuz i'm bored) - lol. Initially I thought I'll walk away for sure and get something more $, but I like my S2000 more each day. I really do think I'll miss her A LOT.

So i'm leaning towards buying the car at teh lease end, or get another 05-06 AP2 next year. The car has been ROCK SOLID, & she's got 31k miles now. Sebring w/ allred interior.

Residual is $19,800, I'm not sure if that's higher or lower than mkt value.

Is there any reason why I should get a new S and not keep the 03? I haven't driven the AP2, is it vastly different than AP1? I do like AP2 rims, so I'll get those if I keep the car.

If I get a new S tho, it has to be w/ red interior, coz I don't like the plain black. Which prolly means I'm limited to sebring again, or white.

TIA

they are pretty different, better to test drive one to see if you really want to upgrade to a 07

i think you should keep it. get the nicer wheels. the extra cost you will have to pay wont be worth it. the ap2 is great, but not that much better. plus you can keep your 9k rpm and tighter steering ratio. not to mention that you'll have to take out the clutch delay valve in the ap2 in order for the clutch to feel like the ap1.

It will be cheaper to keep your AP1. You can spend the money on mods.

But the silverstone ap2 was the best car they ever made, so I am biased to sell and buy a new one...

I would definitly trade up. You'll be the cause of Honda having to produce one more S2K. And there's nothing like the feeling of driving a brand new car.

I would keep the one you have. The sebring/red combo is rare and beautiful.
