Default Leather stain on leather.

I have developed a brown leather stain on my red leather driver seat. This is from my leather belt. I have since started putting my belt on when I get there but can anyone tell me how to get this clean. I have tried leather cleaners to no avail. If someone knows of something stronger that wont damage the leather I would appreciate a heads up.

Sounds like you've transferred the belt leather dye to the seat leather - find a professional would be my thought

This exact same thing happened to me in my Accord. The dealerhip took care of it for me at no charge. Well, no charge depending on how you look at it, they did screw me out of about $500 for interior and exterior "protectants". They had a service come out and clean it.

I definitely got my money out of the "coatings". I had a door panel replaced that a friend got permanent marker on, don't ask. And they repainted a rear quarter panel that the clear started to haze. They also replaced the floor mats every time they got dirty and they couldn't get the stains out. Hey, they were supposed to be "protected".

Try using a combination of "Murphy's Oil Soap and GOOP" the natural acids from goop will lift the stain and the Murphys will clean the stain. You might have to do several repeated trial leaving the Goop on and spraying the Oil soap over. I've found this to work best on ladies lighter color handbags and etc. Remember to use a leather cleaner and conditioner after you clean the spot. It is important you rehydrate the leather, if in fact it's on the leather part of your seat. If not it still will not harm the vinyl.

BEst luck
