when you are far away from even oem leds like on the r8 or other audis, you can't distinguish the details until the car gets closer. in any case, i love looking at them in the reflection of other cars and it adds a side visibility that wasnt there before.

 

dyhppy - The Audi LEDs are very distinguishable from far away. Their LEDs are bigger and thicker. Their LEDs pretty much run as their DRLs. I love it though!

 

the r8 4.2 has spread apart dots that are not that thick. the 5.2 v10 has the thicker line. when the headlights are off and the leds are on only, then they are pretty apparent, imo. can't really compete with oem.

 

Audi A5 has very distinguishable LEDs just like the 5.2 v10 R8.

Yes - his SN is w1ngman - he does swapouts if you send him your lights. I like the rings because they mimic the LEDs in the AP2 tail lights and they kind of float in the head light assembly.

I like the idea of the strips as well, but insid the light assembly. Also the one set I've seen with LEDs in the diffusers as well looked cool.
