I always wanted one, but I was afraid that I wouldnt get used to it. Anyone have a pic of the mirror itself? Is it split down the middle?

I got mine at Level Sports Level Sports. It takes some getting used to, but I really like it.

yea i decided not to get the other side because i would get lazy and begin to get in the habit of not checking the normal right side blindspot... dont want that

Another option for getting rid of the blind spot is to adjust your side mirrors 'properly.' I used to adjust my side mirrors like I suspect 95% of people do, so I could see down the side of my car and get some view of what was behind me.
I've since started adjusting them further outboard so they pick up the stuff that my rear view mirror does not. This takes some getting used to if you're used to looking in the side mirror and seeing what is behind you, but after a few weeks you get used to it and don't have to deal with the blind spot at all. As a car moves out of your rearview mirror's view it comes into the side mirror view.

I don't know if this matters, but I'm 5' 11" and I have the seats adjusted one or two notches from the back.

you can certainly do that with a normal car, but the mirrors on the S2000 don't go far enough for me.
