Left Side Convex Mirror

Another option for getting rid of the blind spot is to adjust your side mirrors 'properly.' I used to adjust my side mirrors like I suspect 95% of people do, so I could see down the side of my car and get some view of what was behind me.
I've since started adjusting them further outboard so they pick up the stuff that my rear view mirror does not. This takes some getting used to if you're used to looking in the side mirror and seeing what is behind you, but after a few weeks you get used to it and don't have to deal with the blind spot at all. As a car moves out of your rearview mirror's view it comes into the side mirror view.

I'm part of the other 5%. I've been setting up my mirrors in all my vehicles this way for years. I have virtually no blind spots! I'm 5'10" and have my seat 2 notches from the back and it works great in the S.
I've tried to convince others that this is the way to adjust mirrors, but nobody wants to give it time to get used to it.

I got mine at Level Sports Level Sports. It takes some getting used to, but I really like it.

you can certainly do that with a normal car, but the mirrors on the S2000 don't go far enough for me. When I look at the driver's side mirror I see my tail...and this is with the mirror adjusted to the farthest point. I suspect this is the case for many people here.
I don't know if this matters, but I'm 5' 11" and I have the seats adjusted one or two notches from the back.

I can't believe I waited 3 years to buy the convex mirror from Muz. I could never get the stock mirror to move far enough out to remove the blind spot in the rear left. Problem solved. The procedure was easy, and the mirror surface is seamless so you almost don't realize it's convex.

I'm about the same height (5' 10.5" at my last physical) and the seat is in about the same position as yours. I don't find that problem. Have you tried sitting in a parking lot and using the cars behind you as reference points?
I find that my S2000 mirrors actually do a better job using this technique than the ones in the Miata or in my wife's Camry.
I'm another owner that cannot get the North American OEM mirror to adjust properly. Even when it is as far outboard as possible, I still have a nice view down the side of my car. Even with the convex mirror, I had to shim the inboard mounting points to allow more outward adjustability. Now, with that done,
for the Oz OEM mirror sold by Muz. It totally eliminated the left-side blind spot.
I'm not a fan of stick-on mirrors.

I just used the double sided taped as an extra measure to hold it in place along with the "goop". I didn't place the new mirrors on top of the stocks.

With the Level Sports mirrors I got, I just popped the stock ones out the "holder" (lack of a better word) and put the new concave ones in its place, using the stock "goop" that was used to hold the stock mirrors in place.
