Leguna Blue
Took my GPW in for a routine oil change this afternoon. They had an '06 Laguna Blue on the showroom floor. Oh wow, that is such a cool color!
Looked better in person than it does in pictures and it looks pretty darn good in the pictures.
The dealer had two Leguna's actually. One on the showroom and one parked outside. I watched a salesperson and customer got in the one parked outside for a test drive. The weather around here today was drop dead gorgeous so naturally they wanted to put the top down. They unlatched the header and then just sat there for a minute or so. Then the customer starts pushing up on the top fabric from the inside and I'm thinking, what the? Then it dawns on me that they can't figure out how to lower the top. I couldn't believe it. Next the windows roll down and the salesperson in the car calls another salesperson over and I hear him say, "you gotta set the parking brake." They pull the brake lever and down goes the top. It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant automotive sales personnel can be about even the simplest functions of the product they're trying to sell.
I took a peak over the guys shoulder before they drove off. I don't think he noticed. The car had 116 miles on it already. Definitely not one I'd want to get hold of.
