Hey, I'm all for the Dromo 'upgrade'! Wouldn't a heavier person do better in the turns with more grip on the tires? Sounds fun!

 

Theoretically, no. More weight means more load on the tires, which increases traction, but the Cf of the tires is not constant. Rather, they tend to decrease with increasing loads (why lighter is better).

Anyways, what about the last weekend in July (28/29) folks? I could use a little tune up before Thunderhill anyways.

Well, no, I was providing the prize, so there was no point in me winning it :-). Although I did beat the next closest contender by 9 seconds in a 11 lap race...;-)

This is what I want to do. They also talk about group events. I am going to call them to see what they have avalible.

 

Sunday would be out for me and Saturday is out after 5pm. Hope I will be able to go... depends on the time. For prizes, I recommend one for UL and the next being for 1st place!! Should be a shoo-in for Ultimate Lurker!

 

either one works - dromo's is preferred. I just had some friends go with work and they loved it. I'd go any weekend or weeknight after work.
