Its amazing how similar these two cars really are, when compared to pretty much any other car, and how silly it is to argue which one is better. In a world with only apples, we're arguing which orange is better.

What I find funny is how there was no mention of the CR? Maybe they didn't want to kick that hornets nest LOL. Or as a HPD Honda rep related to us in a conversation some years ago (and I am paraphrasing here) "The CR was basically a return to the set-up or rawness of the AP-1 with minor improvements in aero, suspension, stiffness etc ....The CR is essentially an AP-1.5" .... You should have seen the two CR drivers go apoplectic at that remark ;-) ... Priceless!

Yeah now if Honda would have done away with the cdv, and the ridiculously overweight flywheel, and retuned the ecu to give a proper lowered vtec engagement point, it would have been a winner right out of the box. But nooooo... there is nothing track oriented about a 22lb flywheel or 6k rpm vtec with a 8k rpm peak limit so you miss out on the smoothness and mid range improvement wile also dropping out of vtec between shifts. Not even the CR is 100% right out of the box.

Every S2000 owner has an opinion, but only one generation really is the best.

I can note, however, that every S2000 owner will agree that Curated Content needs to have thread privileges restricted.
