Default Letting your "wife" drive...

How many of you have let your "significant-other" drive your Stook more than once?

p.s. She only drove it once...

I would love it if she would drive the car, but she is afraid she might cause some damage. I think she is afraid of stalling again. One time she was driving my CRX and someone reved at her they lined up at a light and she stalled when the light turned green. I thought that was funny.

I let my girlfriend drive it....one of the scariest moments of my life It took a little getting used to by her since she drives an old bug...

She's only driven it by herself once...I think that's enough

I haven't let her "solo" yet. We have been on a few rides together to familiarize her with the car. It's getting better every time we go out.........I mean for me! I don't bite my nails any more. Honestly, her shifting is gettting better and soon she will be out on her own. I just don't want her stalling at the wrong time in traffic and getting in trouble trying to find the right gear!

This you are not going to believe... I was visiting a friend back on the east coast who runs a Honda dealership. This couple was picking up their new 01 Yellow S2K and after signing the papers the wife insisted on driving it. Well, not even out of the parking lot she slammed right into the side of the building. Needless to say her husband was not a happy camper. No major damage but enough to cry about.

While my wife has driven the S a number of times, she still is a little intimidated by it because she doesn't want to be responsible for so much as a scratch on her. I have done absolutely nothing to encourage this type of thinking, however. No, of course I haven't!

My wife drives mine quite a lot and I've no qualms about it.. she's a good driver. The outright intimidation and aggression she experiences at times from male drivers when she's alone in the S2000 is way beyond a joke. I've seen some of it from the passenger seat so I can well imagine what it must be like when she's alone Fortunately she is in the right car to respond appropriately
