Life after the S.....
I have already tried living without the S, did so for two years. Now I'm back and not selling it unless I find a decent JDM NSX-R.
First few weeks where like a unwanted breakup with a girlfriend, woke up in the morning looking forward to driving to work. Not really in touch with reality because I was to tired I went out to see my S wasn't there anymore. Having to get used to not getting any looks when driving among other people. No-one asking you what type of car that is that you're driving.
Selling the S was a life changer in a really bad way. Always loved how Honda built their cars and I think they exceeded themselves when they built this car.

I've tried to picture myself with another substitute, but couldn't. I drove out to a dealership with my S2000 to test drive an M3 and I was very happy in the M3, smiling the whole time noticing the power delivery that the M3 provided. From this drive it seemed as so I could live without the S2000, as it was a Rear Wheel drive car with track potential and could seat 4 adults, but after getting out of it and back into the S2000, I just fell in love with the S2000 all over again. Because the S2000 is a unique car designed in my opinion very well to accomindate a drivers most comfortable position, provide fun, feel, control, feedback that I did not have in the M3. It was so different in cockpit feel that I would miss this feeling the most. No other car out there simulates this same race car cockpit type of feel where the seats hold me in and the wheel, shifter, and pedals are in perfect position and ideal operation of enjoying the car's full potential.
The power from the M3 or any other car would be great bragging rights, and would require less effort to drive fast in my opinion, but the S2000 provides that extra response in all of it's operation that rewards me as the driver behind the wheel that I apprecaite it for what it is and I think down the line, that life after the S2000 would be life still with my S2000 in the garage alongside any other new vechicles I get.
