The rotors & caliper kit that I am working on is not the same one that Giampiero & Greg are seeling.
I saw a need for better brakes back in July 2000 I bought my car in April 2000. Next week production parts will be on my car for testing. My car will be at Ashville for inspection. I have teamed up with 6 different companies to develop kit.
Earl's is the company that will be making SS brake lines . They have a stock brake line kit that will be shown at Ashville and production in about 5 to 6 weeks . You will be very impressed with quality of Earl,s kits . Check them out on the web.
I am working on this project for my love of the car and on my car only the best will do. The brake kit will fit standard wheels. Check threads at " under-the-hood" for lots of info on brakes.
Alot of good info from alot of people.
We can also make 4 piston caliper match single piston volume for people that don't want a large increase in clamping power.
The increase in braking ability should allow driver to better control brakes before ABS kicks in.

Are these lighter than stock ones because of the Ergal hat? How different is the rotor itself from stock?
Based on your last reply, I assume these also come plain. Do you have weight specs on the plain ones?

s2ktaxi;rotors are available also plain;I will have to check the price.Yes the weight is lower because of the Ergal hat,the rotors are the same size of the stock one.
Also the plain one are zinc coated.

I can't believe that any of these kits will fit stock wheels with out wheel spacers . 5.20 kg = 11.46 lbs 302mm= 11.89"
Brembo calipers would have to be cast aluminum . Ergal = billet aluminum machined hat . Are rotors safety wired to hats ?

-302 rotors will fit under stock wheels.

-I can believe because the rotors and these kits are all ready.
I did not start this post to convince you that these are the best combinations;I dont have any doubt that something better can be done.This is what we are going to offer;if you have a better set up ,no problem,people are free to choose and make their evaluations and decisions .

Is the company who made your brake kits called IPB in Japan?
I know they offer something similar or the same as your kits.
They are trustworthy company on brakes.

Let's us make our own different brake kits and let our fellow board members to have some choices. From brake kits that fit stock wheels to huge overkill type brake kit. But I totally agree your comment that there is no way a brembo caliper can fit a stock wheel without wheel spacers. My own kit needs 45mm positive offset.
I am not trying to imply that Giampiero's kits are bad . I have studied S-2000 brakes for long time I feel that I have learned what will and won't fit . I will agree that with the use of spacers and different wheels any thing is possible . I just don't want someone to be told that kit fits stock wheels that requires that person to add spacers and change suspension geometry. I am not trying to blast Giampiero in any way . This forum is a way for information to be passed from one reader to the next . I feel that a lot of people don't post because they do not want flamed . The people on this board need to add usefull information and puting our heads together we can improve the information that is posted.
You will notice that when I post information I give complete information weight of old part weight of new part . By posting in this manner the person reading post can check to see if I am posting honestly and compare improvements .
Alot of companies are not interested in how well product fits or works they are looking for sale . I do not want to imply that Giampiero is doing this . But I am sure he would agree that you contact any company with need and they will try to fill that need whether it is the best product or not.
I have learned a lot about S-2000 from this forum and but I have seen way more useless information posted . But thats America. I would like to thank sponsers and the owners of this board for making this interchange possible.
